A warm feeling transcends over the cold location setting of The Way. A storyline containing a
generic father-son struggling relationship evolves into a much deeper and
meaningful self-finding exploration. When an exhausted academic (Emilio Estevez)
turns to his father (Martin Sheen) to join him in a spiritual pilgrimage
through southern France and Spain, little does he suspect it will be their
final chance to reunite. Sheen, a single and successful LA-based doctor, soon
finds himself tracking along the two-month Camino de Santiago journey by foot. His stubborn
nature, coupled with the humour, mystery and flamboyancy of the characters he
meets along the way, surprisingly compliment each other in a tale made to
inspire. Beautiful scenery and local cultures add to an unforgettable
